•The word “BUSHI” is a reference to a code of moral principles which the samurai were required or instructed to observe. Developed over thousands of years of training in the law of honor, obedience, duty, and self-sacrifice. "Simulate the pace of nature, for this path is one of patience and endurance."
BUSHI
DO
• DO or “way” in the title refers to an ideal person: one of honor, strength, responsibility, and virtue.
RYU
•RYU is the school or “school of thought” since it is in the name of the Art, these are central to all aspects of Bushido Ryu: one should be without needing to try to be. By this concept a practitioner is taught to be humble, strong, and honorable.
